Life:
In my continued efforts to get Lily some proper child-to-child social interaction, I am contemplating joining a meetup group for “work-at-home/stay-at-home dads”. I’m a bit younger than pretty much all the members, and that makes me nervous, but their kids seem about the right age. Ugh, why can’t we just evolve past this need for people-talking, LILY?
Closing Comments:
Quite nice to have the comic done early, for once! Finding time to do the comic throughout the week rather than all on Friday night certainly helped my stress level. Up until I procrastinated the last hour of it until just now. Ahhh, but baby steps, Bits and Bytes, baby steps~

Hey Bits and Bytes,
In case you didn’t know, kakujomics.com was hacked and I was instructed to update backend things before further steps could be taken.
I updated comicpress and the site basically borked, so I had originally planned to just redesign the site. However, “Comicpress”‘s most recent changes made updating the site a monumental task, so I rolled it back. (Or more appropriately, comicpress’ current manager took his other project and randomly decided to call it comicpress, which meant pretty much ALL the core files had changed and which also confused the hell out of me.)
The rollback was to a point in November, so I’ll have to manually reupload and reenter the comic/blog entry for the last 4 comics or so. If anything else seems “up” about the site, please let me know in the comments or email me at “kakujomics (dot) media (at) gmail (dot) com”.
As a result of these shenanigans and also because I had the flu for 2 days, there will be no comic for the Saturday of 12/21/2013. I’m still uploading a holiday gif thingy, but an actual comic will make an appearance NEXT Saturday. Pardon the hassle, Bits and Bytes, and happy holidays!

Oh man, that Yoshi and his eggs, the original Kinder Egg. You never know what you’ll get inside! To be honest though, I think the “Do you know what a secret is” joke would have been better played if it were something else inside the egg instead of the little flower guy, who may or may not be just a form of vegetarian cuisine. Like a Shyguy, or even another Yoshi. Would give off more of the ‘we just murdered and are going to eat something bad’ feeling than flower power.
But then again, family friendly fun! Right? Can’t spell slaughter without laughter. God I’m dark.
